SMS & Visual Support

Terms & SMS Messaging Terms

Effective Date: September 4, 2026

These SMS Messaging Terms apply to transactional text messages sent by OnCaire in connection with customer-initiated generator technical support and active support cases. Use of personal information and SMS consent data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Example Voice Disclosure

“To continue with visual support, may I send a text message to this phone number with a secure support link? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.”

1. Program Name and Purpose

OnCaire Visual & Technical Support Messaging provides case-related messages such as secure visual-support links, technical-support follow-up, case updates, and related service information requested by the customer.

2. How Consent Is Obtained

During an active technical-support telephone call, OnCaire may ask the caller for express permission to send an SMS to the telephone number associated with the call. The SMS is sent only after the caller affirmatively agrees.

3. Message Frequency & Rates

  • Message frequency varies by support case — typically 1–3 messages per case.
  • Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier and service plan.
  • Delivery is subject to carrier networks and availability; carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Opt-Out & Help

  • Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages for this program.
  • After an opt-out request, no further messages are sent unless new consent is later provided.
  • Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us through the support methods published on oncaire.com.

5. Not Marketing

The messaging program described here is intended for customer-requested technical support and case-related communications. It is not used to send third-party advertising or unrelated promotional campaigns.

6. Visual-Support Links

Visual-support links may be time-limited and associated with a specific technical-support case. Do not forward a secure support link to unauthorized persons.

7. Technical Support Limitation

OnCaire provides remote technical-support assistance and information. Remote assistance does not replace qualified on-site service where physical inspection, hazardous work, energized electrical work, fuel-system intervention, protection changes, or other specialized service is required.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will be made available through this page.
